Steps to redeem gift cards depend on how you have configured your hosted booking site or widget.

The following instructions use the hosted booking site as an example, starting with the category page filtered for tours.

Follow these steps to redeem gift cards.

  1. Find the product you would like to book from the presented list.

  2. Click the Book Here button.

  3. Find a date and time that works with your schedule.

  4. Specify the number of participants.

  5. Click Add to Shopping Cart to continue.

  6. Review your product selections, upsells, and price details.

  7. Click the Continue to Checkout button to move to the next step.

  8. Review your cart. Remove products or add promo codes.

  9. Click the Next: Contact button to move to the next step.

  10.  Enter your contact information.

  11. Click Proceed to payment to continue to the next step.
  12. Choose to pay by Gift Card.

  13. Enter the gift card Amount and Code. This number is beneath the barcode on the Customer's gift card PDF.

    • The currency of the gift card needs to match the payment.
    • The minimum gift card amount you can use for payment is $1.00.

     

  14. Apply the gift card to the booking.

    • The system always applies the maximum available balance from the gift card to fulfill the payment request.
    • The system reserves the gift card when the customer applies it to the payment. If the customer cancels the booking, the value is released.
    • The system automatically completes the booking if the gift card covers the full amount. 
    • If the gift card covers part of the booking, the guest can pay the remaining amount using another gift card or payment method.

      To pay the balance owing with another gift card, repeat steps 12-14 above.
