How to customise your gift card using gift card settings

You can modify the default gift card settings to customize the look of gift cards issued to customers, enhancing the customer experience while providing strategic business benefits.

Customizing gift card settings

Follow these steps to customize the default gift card settings:

  1. Go to the Gift Cards area (Products > Gift Cards).
  2. Select the Issued or the Products tab on the Gift Cards page.

  3. Select the Settings icon to open the Gift Card Settings modal.

  4. Choose Add Photo to add a logo to display at the top of all customer-purchased and staff-issued gift cards. You may also drag and drop a photo from your device. Both JPG and PNG file formats are supported.

  5. All gift cards include default themes - celebration, seasonal, or summer.

    Customers or staff can apply one of these themes before sending a gift card to recipients.

    You can toggle off the No Default Themes setting to hide the themes from customers and staff if they don't match your business.

  6. Enter customized Terms and Conditions, e.g., Gift cards may not be resold for cash value.

  7. Customize the From name that displays when refunding a paid booking amount to a gift card. Choose from the following options:
    • Company Name displays the company name specified at Account > Setup > Company.

    • Staff Issuer Name leaves the name blank for the staff user to input.

    • Custom Name lets you enter a customized name, e.g., Refund.

  8. Enter a Message to display when refunding a paid booking amount to a gift card, e.g., Thanks for your business!

  9. Choose the Expiry when refunding a paid booking amount to a gift card. Choose from the following options:
    • Indefinite specifies no expiry value.

    • Days after issue lets you customize the expiry value. The default value is 365 days.

  10. Select the Save button to save any changes to settings and close the window.
