Standard Pricing for Payments

The transaction fees we apply depend on various factors:

  • The region where you are doing business, e.g., the United States (US) versus the United Kingdom (UK). See breakdown below:
  • The card’s country of origin relative to your business location, e.g., US credit cards versus international credit cards
  • The payment method used, e.g., credit card versus Bancontact or Ideal

Payment fee = Percentage (%) + Flat-Rate Fee*

For most payment methods, our payment fee consists of a percentage plus a flat fee, except the Ideal payment method, which only incurs flat fees as detailed below.

Important fee rules

  • Pricing per region applies to all card types unless otherwise specified.
  • Flat fees apply in the currency you, the Operator, choose to conduct business in. For instance, a flat fee of 0.30 would amount to USD 0.30 if your selected business currency is USD or CAD 0.30 if your selected business currency is CAD.
