How to create waivers & document templates: Step 3 - Configuration Settings

Configuration settings allow you to customize waivers & documents to suit your various product offerings and convey essential messages.

What are configuration settings?

Configuration settings are options that control how waivers & documents function and appear within the system. They allow you to:

  • Select which products or categories the document applies to.
  • Add a summary to describe the purpose of the document.
  • Create a completed document message that customers see once they finish signing.

These settings are managed in the Configuration tab of the Template Builder, giving you flexibility to customize the experience for both staff and customers.
 


Selecting applicable products

Choose the Applicable Products you want to apply this waiver or document to.

  1. Go to Bookings > Waivers to create or edit a template to open the Template Editor.
  2. Select the Configuration tab of the Template Builder.

  3. Choose the product or product category for this waiver or document using the options listed under the Applicable Products section.

  4. Click the Save button to save your selections.
     

Providing waiver/document summaries

Give a short explanation of what the waiver or document is for using the Summary field.
 

  1. Go to Bookings > Waivers to create or edit a template to open the Template Editor.
  2. Select the Configuration tab of the Template Builder.

  3. Provide some brief text explaining the purpose of the document.

  4. Click the Save button to save your selections.

     

Adding completed waiver/document messages

Add a message to display once the document is completed.

  1. Go to Bookings > Waivers to create or edit a template to open the Template Editor.
  2. Select the Configuration tab of the Template Builder.

  3. Enter a message in the Completed Document Message field to display to signatories once the document is completed.

  4. Click the Save button to save your selections.
