How to sign waivers & documents (from the guest's perspective)

Your guest follows these steps to sign a document:

  1. Complete and submit a product booking, and then the guest may sign the required waiver.
  2. Click the signature area in the waiver to open the signature window.

    Document must contain a signature field
    Ensure that your document includes a signature field; otherwise, the signing area will not be included in the live document.

    The default signature field is represented by the variable: {$field id="primary_signature"}.

     

  3. Hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor to sign the document. If the signature doesn’t look right, click the Retry button to clear the workspace and try again!

  4. Click the Add Signature button to insert the signature into the document when happy with the result.
  5. Click the Submit Document button when the green status bar at the top of the page indicates that all sections are complete and the steps are finished.

    Missing info highlighted

    If the guest clicks the Submit Document button before the steps are complete, the document highlights the missing information, and they must provide the information before proceeding.


    A completed waiver displays a large green checkmark with options to print, save as PDF, continue to the receipt, or return to required documents.
     

  6. View the Complete! page where the guest may print or save the document for future reference. Then, continue to the receipt page or return to the Required Documents step if there are more documents to sign.

    Completion email sent to operator

    A waiver copy is NOT sent automatically to the booker when the document is signed.

    However, if the booker sends the document to other guests, when the guest signs the document, a completion email is sent to the operator.
