What are minor's sections?
A minor’s section is a group of fields within a waiver or document template that allows you to gather information about each minor linked to a booking. When a booking includes minors, you can easily collect names, contact details, and guardian information, as well as signatures, for all required parties.
Adding minors' sections
You can add a minor's section to your document by following these steps:
- Go to Bookings > Waivers to create or edit an existing template to open the Template Editor.
- Place your cursor at the beginning of the line where you want to add the section.
- Next, click the Minor's Section option within the Fields tab on the right. The system then adds the matching variable to the document at the location where you placed your cursor.
-
Replace any placeholder text, such as 'This area will be repeated, add fields here', with the fields you need to collect information from minor participants and their adult guardians.
Here is an example of the Text Editor with fields added to the minor's section:
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
-
You can also preview the added section by clicking the Preview button located at the bottom right of the page. Note, the fields repeat depending on the number of participants selected.
