How to assign staff members from your daily manifest

Learn how to manually assign staff members to sessions to improve staff scheduling and productivity.

Assigning staff members to sessions

Follow these steps to manually assign a staff member to a session from the daily manifest:

  1. Go to the Daily Manifest (Booking > Daily Manifest).
  2. Select the + Assign button within a session card to open its drawer.

  3. Open the Staff drop-down menu.

  4. Place a check mark next to one or more staff members to assign them to the session.

    Place a checkmark next to a staff member(s) to select them, or click the Select # button to select all search result entries. Click the Deselect # button to uncheck all search result entries. Click the Reset button to start your search over.

  5. Select the Confirm button to save any changes. The system updates the session drawer staff field to show the currently assigned staff member(s).

    Know the following:

    • You can hide the + Assign button and staff assignment drop-down menu from displaying by deselecting the Show staff assignment on calendars setting at Account > Setup > Configuration.

    • An assigned staff member's name(s) displays automatically in the Assigned Staff column. This column is enabled by default and can be hidden by adjusting which columns display through the Edit Columns button.

Unassigning staff members from sessions

Follow these steps to manually unassign a staff member from a session within the daily manifest:

  1. Go to the Daily Manifest (Booking > Daily Manifest).
  2. Select the + Assign button within a session card to open its drawer.

  3. Open the Staff drop-down menu.

  4. Uncheck one or more previously selected staff members to unassign them from the session.

    Uncheck a staff member(s) to deselect them, or click the Deselect # button to uncheck all search result entries. Click the Reset button to start your search over.

  5. Select the Confirm button to save any changes. The system updates the session drawer staff field to show the currently assigned staff member(s), if any.

Notifying staff of assignments

The system automatically sends the assigned staff member an email notification informing them of session reassignments.

Where can I find this feature using the menu?

  • Booking > Daily Manifest

What permissions do I need to use this feature?

  • Admin or restricted permissions to View all reports (or Daily Manifest).
  • The system requires the Guest Form (Integrations > Guest Management) integration to collect and include guest information within your daily manifest.

Can I assign the same staff member to multiple bookings?

  • Yes, you can assign a staff member to multiple bookings.

Who can assign a session to a staff member?

  • Only admins can assign a session to a staff member(s).

Are staff session assignment actions logged?

  • Yes, staff assignment/unassignment actions, including sent email notifications, are logged in the Account Activity report (Analytics > Account Activity).
