How to use the public document directory with waivers & documents

Using the public document directory

Are you offering a walk-in service for your business and requiring guests to fill out a waiver before proceeding? You can direct guests to your Public Directory on a tablet (or desktop computer) connected to a printer.

Access the Public Directory by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Waivers & Documents area (Booking > Waivers).
  2. Select the Public Directory option from the left-side menu.

  3. Select the waiver relevant to a guest's booking and click the blue Sign Document button.

  4. View the completion page once a guest has filled out, signed, and submitted a document. Additional options on this page include Print Document, Save as PDF, and Return to Document Directory.

Know the following:

  • The directory can also be found at: https://yourcompany.bookingplatform.app/reserve/documents/directory/
  • If you want to hide a template from this directory, you can do so from the Configuration section of the template.
  • A document filled out through the Public Directory does not attach automatically to the guest's booking. A staff member must manually attribute the completed waiver when editing the booking.
